The elderly as they wait to go home,
They like to be as free as deer,
Not locked up in a home.
The elderly & sick need healing,
From God’s perspective.
The elderly & healing need to know,
They still have purpose.
Whether it’s volunteering,
Or being apart of a trusting community.
The older you get the more you learn,
To appreciate the little things,
Others don’t see.
When we look back,
We say I can’t believe,
That was me.
Now I see.
It”s never to late,
To make a difference.
