Psalm 100 one of my favorites especially in the morning or any time of day I say it to myself during good times and bad it reminds me of the love I have for God and He has for me. We are His people and no other’s. This is a psalm in the Hebrew Bible that is translated as “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands” or “O be joyful in the Lord, all ye lands” in English. It is also called a psalm of thanksgiving, gratitude, or praise. Anonymous Author invites all people to worship God and acknowledge that he is the sovereign and good shepherd. This is part of a group of psalms that affirms “The LORD reigns”. It shows the power and love of praises in the relationship between God and his people. This Psalm is used at Thanksgiving or used in the morning for encouragement for the day.
It reads in Psalm 100:1-5 NIV. {A psalm. For giving grateful praise.}
Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
