Jesus’ disciples were amazed at the greatness of God and all that Jesus was doing. Jesus then tells his disciples that the Son of Man is going to be betrayed into human hands. However, the disciples did not understand what Jesus meant, and they were afraid to ask him about it.

It reads in Luke 9:43-45 Easy> Jesus speaks again about his death.
The people were still thinking with surprise about everything that Jesus was doing. Then he began to talk to his disciples. He said to them, ‘Do not forget what I am telling you now. Soon they will deliver the Son of Man to powerful people to kill him.’ But they did not understand what Jesus had said. Its meaning was a secret to them, so they could not understand. But they were afraid to ask Jesus, ‘What do you mean?’
