Jesus is the living Water that satisfies the thirsty soul. Those who repent and whosoever will believe on Christ for the forgiveness of sins and life everlasting. Let rivers of living water flow through them to others who need to taste and see that Lord is good. Jesus never changes and loves you more so give Him your sins. Many verses in the Old Testament speak about ‘water’ that gives us life. Isaiah 44:3;> I will pour water onto land that is thirsty. I will pour streams of water on the dry ground. I will pour out my Spirit on your descendants, and I will bless them. Isaiah 58:11< The Lord will always be your guide. He will give you plenty to eat, even when the ground is dry. He will make your bodies strong. You will be like a garden that has plenty of water. You will be like a spring of water that never becomes dry. And Zechariah 13:1> ‘On that day, water will start to pour from a fountain for King David’s descendants and Jerusalem’s people. It will make them clean from their sins and the dirty things that they have done.’; Zechariah 14:8> On that day, water will come out from Jerusalem. Half of this water will go towards the sea in the east. Half of this water will go towards the sea in the west. This will go on during summer and winter. The Jews would read these verses aloud at the Festival of Tabernacles.

It reads in John 7:37 -39 EASY> The last day of the festival was the most important day. On that day, Jesus stood up and he spoke with a loud voice. He said, ‘If anyone is thirsty, he should come to me so that he may drink. It says in the Bible, “God will cause streams of water to pour out from anyone who believes in me. Water that gives life will come out from inside that person.” ’ Jesus was speaking about God’s Spirit, who would come to people sometime after that. Those people who believed in Jesus would receive God’s Spirit at that later time. But God had not yet given his Spirit to people, because he had not yet raised Jesus back up to heaven.
