His promise that the Holy Spirit will “guide you into all truth” Before the disciples would begin their ministry, they were to wait in Jerusalem for the promised Holy Spirit. During this time, Jesus spoke to his apostles about the kingdom of God. (Acts 1:4 Easy> One time, when Jesus and his apostles were together, he said to them, ‘Do not leave Jerusalem yet. You must wait there until you receive my Father’s gift.)My Father promised to give it to you. After the Holy Spirit came, the disciples were equipped for their work, and we see them proclaiming powerfully the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit had indeed guided them into the and brought to their remembrance what Jesus had said to them. Holy Spirit convicts believers of sin and righteousness and judgement. Holy Spirit is so powerful He can work on a sinners mindand heart so they will turn from their wicked ways.
It reads in John 16:5-11 Easy> Now I am going back to the one who sent me. And none of you asks me, ‘Where are you going?’ But you are filled with sadness because I have told you all this. Let me assure you, it is better for you that I go away. I say this because when I go away I will send the Helper to you. But if I did not go, the Helper would not come. “When the Helper comes, he will show the people of the world how wrong they are about sin, about being right with God, and about judgment. He will prove that they are guilty of sin, because they don’t believe in me. He will show them how wrong they are about how to be right with God. The Helper will do this, because I am going to the Father. You will not see me then. And he will show them how wrong their judgment is, because their leader has already been condemned.
