John is referred to as “the one whom Jesus loved” five times in the Gospel of John, and he was the only disciple who stayed with Jesus at the cross. John also received a special revelation from Jesus when he was exiled on the island of Patmos. (John, exiled on the island of Patmos, receives a divine revelation from Jesus Christ, who instructs him to write down what he sees and send it to the seven churches in Asia.) These facts indicate that John had a special bond with Jesus that could be considered friendship. Things that God showed to Jesus Christ. He wanted Jesus to show these things to his own servants. They are events that must happen soon. Jesus sent his angel to show them to me, his servant John. If we oonly knew the benwfits from the bible thats truth, nothing would keep us from it. “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” is a verse from the Bible. It signifies the guidance and illumination provided by God’s word. Psalm 119:105″
Revelation 1:1-3 Easy: This book describes the things that God showed to Jesus Christ. He wanted Jesus to show these things to his own servants. They are events that must happen soon. Jesus sent his angel to show them to me, his servant John. I, John, have written about everything that God showed me. These things are a true message from God. They are the things that Jesus Christ says are true. If anyone reads aloud the words of this prophecy, God will bless that person. God will also bless the people who listen to these words, if they continue to obey them. The things that are written here will soon happen.
Lord Jesus, I believe in reading, marking, and learning from all You have showed me in the book of Revelation and may I be guided by the Holy Spirit into all truth. I thank You and praise You for Your Word and what You have told us what will happen before it happens so that we will believe. I believe that Jesus would be revealed to me, more and more, and I would know Him more clearly, as I stay obedient and love Him more unconditionaly, and follow Him more closer, all the days of my life. I thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory for Your amazing grace and perfect peace which You supply in such abundance to all those who are called your child. Amen! Hallelujah!
