This powerful passage that highlights several key insights for believers:
Redemption and Ransom: The passage emphasizes that Jesus, through His sacrifice, has redeemed people from every tribe, language, people, and nation. This underscores the universal scope of salvation and the inclusivity of God’s kingdom.
Kingdom and Priests: Believers are made into a kingdom and priests to serve God. This signifies a special status and purpose, indicating that believers have a role in God’s divine plan and are called to serve Him.
Reigning on Earth: The passage promises that believers will reign on earth. This points to a future hope and the ultimate victory of God’s people.
Heavenly Worship: The vision of countless angels and heavenly beings worshiping the Lamb (Jesus) highlights the glory and honor given to Christ. It also reflects the joy and reverence that believers can experience in worship. Encouragement and assurance of the believer’s identity, purpose, and future in Christ.
It reads in Revelation 5:9-11 Easy: And they all sang a new song to the Lamb: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were killed, and with your blood sacrifice you bought people for God from every tribe, language, race of people, and nation. You made them to be a kingdom and to be priests for our God. And they will rule on the earth.” Then I looked, and I heard the voices of many angels. The angels were around the throne, the four living beings, and the elders. There were thousands and thousands of angels—10,000 times 10,000.
Father God, Thank You for this blessing to know that as a member of the Bride of Christ, I will be uniting my voice to sing this glorious new song with the 24 elders. I praise You and thank You that I have been redeemed by Your blood, by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Thank You for Your written Word and for the wonderful truths it contains. It contains godly instruction, and it teaches the prophetic events it foretells. I praise You and thank You that by faith in Jesus Christ, we have all been made kings or Queens or prince’s or princess’s and priests of God and will one day rule and reign on the earth with Christ Jesus our Lord, in His Precious Name Amen and Amen! So Be It!
