There is no temple in the city because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.

It reads in Revelation 21:22-27 EASY: When I looked, I saw that there was no temple in the city. The Lord God, who has all power and authority, is there himself. The Lamb is also there. So people do not need a special place to worship him there. Also, the city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it. God’s bright glory gives light to the city. The Lamb is the lamp that gives it light. People from all the world’s nations will live in the city’s light. The earth’s rulers will bring all their valuable things into it. Nobody will ever shut the city’s gates at the end of the day. It will always be day and there will be no night there. People from all the world’s nations will bring their beautiful and valuable things into the city. But nothing that is bad or unclean will ever go in there. Nobody who does anything that God hates will go into the city. Nobody who tells lies will go in. Only those people with their names written in the Lamb’s book of life can go in there.

Father God. I thank You and praise You for the glory of Your presence that shines brighter than the sun and moon. Appreciation for the new Jerusalem, where there is no need for a temple because You, Lord Jesus are the Lamb and temple. Thank You for the promise of a city where Your light guides us, and the gates are never shut, symbolizing eternal safety and welcome. May we live in a way that honors Your light, shunning what is unholy and embracing all that is good, pure, and true. Fill our hearts and minds with the hope of this heavenly city and guide us Holy Spirit on our earthly journey. Thank You that You give comfort and strength as we Your children reflect on Your promise of the new Jerusalem. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
