These verses describe the third day of creation, where God gathers the waters to one place, allowing dry land to appear. He names the dry land “Earth” and the gathered waters “Seas,” and sees that it is good. This passage is encouraging as it reminds us of the power of creation and order. Just as God brought forth dry land from the chaos of the waters, we can find hope and assurance that order and goodness can emerge from chaos in our lives. It’s a beautiful reminder of the potential for new beginnings and the inherent goodness in the world.

It reads in Genesis 1:9-10 Easy God said, ‘The water that is under the sky will come together in one place. Then dry ground will appear.’ And what God said happened. God called the dry ground ‘land’. He called the water that had come together ‘sea’. God looked at what he had made. He saw that it was good.
Father God, Creator of creation, we stand in awe of Your power and the beauty of Your creation. Just as You brought forth dry land from the waters, we ask that You bring order and peace into our lives. Help us to see the goodness in the world around us and to trust in Your plan, even when we face chaos and uncertainty. May we find strength and hope in Your presence, knowing that You are always with us, guiding us towards new beginnings. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
