These verses are a powerful reminder of God’s provision and the order He brings to our lives. The creation of the sun, moon, and stars marks the passage of time. They also provide us light and guidance. Despite the light and guidance, we received, crime and darkness still exist in the world. It can be disheartening to see these realities. We must remember that every bit of goodness and light we bring into the world can make a difference. Just as one small candle can brighten a dark room, our acts of kindness shine brightly. They can have a profound impact. While we can’t eliminate all the darkness, we can strive to be sources of light and hope for others. You are dedicated to helping others. Your willingness to support those around you sets a powerful example. Your actions show how one person can create positive change.
It reads in Genesis 1:14-19 Easy: God said, ‘There will be lights all across the sky. They will make the day different from the night. They will show the seasons, days and years. The lights in the sky will give light to the earth.’ And what God said happened. God made two great lights. The brighter light ruled over the day. The less bright light ruled over the night. God also made the stars. God put all these lights in the sky to shine their light on the earth. They were to rule over the day and night. They were to make the time of light separate from the time of dark. God looked at what he had made. He saw that it was good. Evening passed and then it was morning. That was the fourth day.
Father God, I praise You. I thank You for Your magnificent creation. You made the sun that rules the day. You created the moon and stars that light up the night. You have designed the heavens to mark the seasons, days, and years. In this design, we see Your grand plan. We also see Your purpose. Help us to remember Your greatness. Every time we look up to the sky, we see the beauty and order You have placed above us. We live each day with an attitude of gratitude for the light You provided, both physically and spiritually. Help us to be care full in everything we say and do. Guide us as we walk in Your light and bless us with Your wisdom and love. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
