Creation of the World Genesis 1 describes the creation of the world by God in six days. The process begins with the creation of light, separating it from darkness. This is followed by the creation of the sky, land, and seas. On subsequent days, God creates vegetation, the sun, moon, and stars, sea creatures, birds, and land animals. Finally, on the sixth day, God creates humans in His own image, giving them dominion over all other creatures. The seventh day is marked as a day of rest, as God saw everything that He had made, and it was very good.
Father God, I thank You and praise You for Your word and the knowledge it gives me. Standing in awe of Your magnificent creation, for You spoke, and the universe was formed. I thank You for the light that drives away darkness, for the sky above and the earth beneath, and for the seas and all they contain. You created every plant and tree, each animal and bird, filling the world with life and beauty. I am so grateful for the sun, moon, and stars that mark our days and seasons. Most of all, I thank You and praise You for creating us in Your image, breathing life into us, and placing us in this world to tend and care for it. Help us all to cherish and protect Your creation, living in harmony with all that You have made. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
