The Creation of Man and Woman Genesis 2 provides a more detailed account of the creation of humans. It describes how God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed life into him, placing him in the Garden of Eden. God then creates animals and birds as potential companions for the man, but finding nonsuitable, He causes the man to sleep and creates a woman from one of his ribs. Father God, I praise You for Your word of truth. I am thankful for the gift of companionship, as You created man and woman to support and love one another. May I always seek to reflect Your love in our relationships, honoring the divine bond You have established. I ask for Your guidance and wisdom as I fulfill the roles You have given us, stewarding the earth and caring for each other. May we always remember the blessedness of Your creation and the purpose You have set before us all. Thank You for the friendship of the Holy Spirit when no one is here to hear.
