After a long period of flooding, God remembers Noah and the creatures in the ark. A wind causes the waters to recede, and the ark rests on the mountains of Ararat. Noah sends out a raven and a dove to check for dry land. The dove eventually returns with an olive leaf, indicating that the waters have subsided. After the dove does not return, God instructs Noah to exit the ark with his family and the animals.

It reads in Genesis 8:1-14 Easy: Then God remembered Noah and all the animals with him in the ship. He caused a wind to blow, and the water began to go down. The rain stopped, and after 150 days, the ship rested on the Ararat mountains. The water continued to decrease until the tenth month when the mountain tops appeared. After 40 days, Noah opened a window and sent out a raven, which kept coming back. Then he sent out a dove to check if the ground was dry, but it returned with no place to land. After seven days, he sent the dove again, and it returned with an olive leaf, signaling that the water was gone. Seven days later, he sent the dove out once more, and it did not return. At 601 years old, Noah saw the earth was dry. He opened the ship’s roof and found the ground dry. By the 27th day of the second month, everything was completely dry.
