He went to the hills that are on the east of Bethel. He put up his tent in that place. Bethel was towards the west, and Ai was towards the east. Abram also built an altar there to worship the Lord. Then Abram took his tent and he left that place. He continued to travel towards the Negev.
Father God, Thank You and praise You that we can have hearts open, seeking Your guidance and wisdom. You led Abram with promises of hope and a future. In the same way, we ask that You guide us on our paths. Do so with Your loving hand of righteousness and love. Give us the faith to trust in Your plans, even when the road ahead seems uncertain. I am believing for You to build altars in our hearts, places of worship and gratitude in everything. Spring clean our hearts so we can honor You and remember Your promises.
