Abram’s continued devotion and his choice to settle near Hebron, where he once again builds an altar to worship the Lord.
Genesis 13:18: Easy: So, Abram moved his tents. He went to live near the special oak trees of Mamre. That place is at Hebron. Abram built an altar to worship the Lord there.
Father God, thank You and praise You for all You do, just as Abram built an altar to honor your name we want to honor You. In every place we find ourselves needing You. Believing to always remember to acknowledge your presence and give thanks for your blessings. Give us the humility to recognize Your hand at work in our lives and the strength to worship You with sincere hearts. As we journey through life, let us build altars of praise and thanksgiving, reflecting our love and devotion to you. Let us be faithful Stewarts of Your love and as You guide us on to places, opportunities and others as You guide and provide. Keep us all always mindful of Your greatness and goodness.
