Tensions arose between Sarah and Hagar, and Sarah asked Abraham to send Hagar and Ishmael away. Abraham, distressed but reassured by God, sent them into the desert with some food and water.

In Genesis 21:8-14 Easy, it says: Isaac grew and was weaned, and Abraham held a big feast for the occasion. However, Sarah noticed that Hagar’s son was mocking Isaac, and she told Abraham to get rid of Hagar and her son because he would not share in Isaac’s inheritance. This upset Abraham because he cared for his son. But God advised him not to worry and to listen to Sarah, explaining that Isaac would lead to his offspring. God assured him that Hagar’s son would also become a nation because he was his child. The next morning, Abraham gave Hagar food and water, sent her away with her son, and they wandered in the Desert of Beersheba.
