The servant sets out for Mesopotamia, specifically to Nahor’s city, with ten of Abraham’s camels and various gifts.
It reads in Genesis 24:10-11 Easy: After that, Abraham’s servant left to go on his journey. He took with him ten of his master’s camels. He also took many different kinds of valuable gifts that Abraham had given to him. He travelled towards Aram Naharaim. He arrived in the town of Nahor. Abraham’s servant stopped outside the town. He made the camels go down on their knees near a well. It was the evening time, when women came to the well to get water.
Father God, I thank You and praise You for Your word. I am requesting Your direction and wisdom in my decisions. Just as Abraham’s servant sought Your guidance at the well, I also seek it now. Show me the path You have prepared for me.” help me to trust in Your timing. Just as the servant waited by the well for Rebekah, I will wait for Your perfect timing in my life.” Just as the servant asked for a sign, I believe for clarity and confirmation in my decisions. Show me clear signs that I am following Your will.” I love You. I thank You. I praise You. I give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name amen.
