Rebekah, Abraham’s relative, arrives at the well and fulfills the servant’s prayer by offering water to him and the camels.

It reads in Genesis 24:15-20 Easy: The servant was still praying when Rebekah came to the well. She had her pot on her shoulder. Rebekah was the daughter of Bethuel, who was the son of Milcah. Milcah was the wife of Abraham’s brother, Nahor. The young woman was very beautiful. She had not had sex with any man. She went down to the well. She filled her pot with water and she came back up again. Abraham’s servant hurried to meet her. He said, ‘Please give me a little water to drink from your pot.’She replied, ‘Yes sir, please drink.’ She quickly took the pot down from her shoulders. She held the pot with her hands and gave him a drink. After she had done that, she said, ‘Now I will get some water for your camels too. I will do this until they have drunk as much water as they want.’ So Rebekah quickly poured the water from her pot into the place where the animals drank. She ran back to the well to get more water. She did this until the camels had drunk enough.

Father God, I praise You that as Rebekah showed extraordinary kindness by offering water to Abraham’s servant and his camels. I fully believe with a heart of gratitude. I want to serve others with the same generosity and compassion. I am in awe of Your perfect timing. You brought Rebekah to the servant’s path before he had even finished praying. That is spot on.  Let me learn more so to be patient and trust in Your divine timing in all aspects of my life. As I learn to recognize the signs of Your guidance and embrace the opportunities You place before me. Just as Rebekah’s actions reflected a heart of kindness, grant me the grace to act with love. Help me show compassion towards others. Teach me to be a blessing to those around me, and to show Your love in all that I do. Give me the courage to strengthen my faith as I wait for Your plans to unfold. Remind me that Your ways are higher than my ways, and Your thoughts are higher than my thoughts. Guide me always to seek and to align my will with Yours and find peace in Your divine providence. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
