Abraham dies at the age of 175 and is buried by his sons Isaac and Ishmael.

Genesis 25:7-11 Easy: Abraham lived a hundred and seventy-five years. Then Abraham breathed his last and died at a good old age, an old man and full of years; and he was gathered to his people. His sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah near Mamre, in the field of Ephron son of Zohar the Hittite, the field Abraham had bought from the Hittites. There Abraham was buried with his wife Sarah. After Abraham’s death, God blessed his son Isaac, who then lived near Beer Lahai Roi.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, just as you gathered Abraham to his people in peace, we seek your comfort. We ask for strength in times of loss and transition. We never will be disheartened when people take advantage of others. Especially in such a callous way, because you will repay. We find solace in the memories of those who have gone before us. Their legacies inspire us to live with purpose. Faith and perseverance truly matter. Bless us, as you blessed Isaac, with the wisdom to follow the paths of righteousness. Let your light shine upon us, guiding our steps and illuminating our way. Grant us the courage to face challenges. Give us the perseverance to overcome obstacles. We have the grace to stay steadfast in our faith. We believe in unity and harmony within our families and communities. Isaac and Ishmael came together to honor their father. There is truly power in the blood. Help us to reconcile differences. Aid us in forgiving others and in building bridges of understanding and love. We ask for your continued blessings and protection. We live lives that show your goodness and bring honor and glory to your name. Amen. So be it!…..
