Leah, seeing Rachel’s action, gives Jacob her servant Zilpah, who bears Gad and Asher.


It reads in Genesis 30:9-13 Easy: Leah saw that she had stopped having children. So she gave her servant Zilpah to Jacob as a wife. Zilpah became pregnant and she gave birth to a son for Jacob. Leah said, ‘This is very good.’ She called the boy Gad. Leah’s servant Zilpah gave Jacob another son. Leah said, ‘I am very happy! Women will call me happy.’ So she called this boy Asher.


Father God, Thank You and praise You for the blessings You provide, even in unexpected ways. Trust in Your plan and finding contentment in what You have given me I am so grateful.. Like Leah, I want to recognize Your goodness and rejoice in Your provision. Strengthen my heart to focus on gratitude rather than comparison and guide me to see the joy in each season of life. May I always walk in faith, knowing that You are working for my good. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Name amen.
