Divine Guidance, Conflict, & Peace
Through silent whispers,
God did call,
To Jacob’s heart,
He spoke to all.
“Rise and go,
I’ll lead the way,
No man shall turn your steps astray.”
Yet storms of strife began to rise,
Old wounds beneath familiar skies.
Laban’s gaze grew sharp and cold,
Grasping tightly what he’d controlled.
Rachel’s hands, a secret keep,
Idols hidden, buried deep.
Tensions flared, words ran wild,
Trust once pure now beguiled.
But lo, in dreams a warning came,
A voice of peace, a holy name.
No harm shall touch, no wrath shall fall,
God stood between them, holding all.
So stone by stone, the pact was made,
A witness firm, where peace was laid.
From conflict’s dust, a bridge was built, Forgiveness washing bitter guilt.
Jacob left, his path now free,
Led by grace, divinely seen.
For even through the trials long,
God’s hand remained both firm and strong.
