Judah learns Tamar is pregnant and orders her punishment. Tamar reveals Judah as the father using his personal items. Upon realizing the truth, Judah acknowledges his wrongdoing and declares, “She is more righteous than I, since I wouldn’t give her to my son Shelah.” This moment marks a turning point for Judah, as he recognizes his failure to uphold his duty and the integrity of Tamar’s actions

It reads in Genesis 38:24-26 Easy:  About three months later, someone told Judah, “Your daughter-in-law Tamar sinned like a prostitute, and now she is pregnant.” Then Judah said, “Take her out and burn her.” The men went to Tamar to kill her, but she sent a message to her father-in-law that said, “The man who made me pregnant is the man who owns these things. Look at them. Whose are they? Whose special seal and string is this? Whose walking stick is this?” Judah recognized these things and said, “She is right. I was wrong. I did not give her my son Shelah like I promised.” And Judah did not sleep with her again.

Father God, thank You and praise You for Your mercy and justice. Help me to be humble like Judah, recognizing my mistakes and growing from them. Teach me to seek truth and act with righteousness, just as Tamar did. May I be guided in times of failure and always find wisdom and redemption. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
