Temptation knocked, but he stood tall,
A heart devoted, he gave his all.
Though whispers called,
Though hands reached near,
He fled from sin, his path was clear.
False words rose, a cruel disguise,
A cloak abandoned,
A web of lies.
Yet in the shadows, bound and torn,
God’s light remained, a hope reborn.
Through prison walls,
Through trials deep,
The Lord was near,
His love to keep.
For faith endures,
Though tested strong,
Righteousness will right the wrong.
