Two men dreamed in prison’s gloom,

One bound for life, one for doom.

Joseph listened, wisdom bright,

Truth unfolding in the night.

The cup was raised, the baker fell,

Prophecies spoke; time would tell.

Yet silence lingered, hope seemed small,

Joseph waiting, lost in the hall.

But beyond those bars, beyond delay,

God’s hand prepared a greater way.

For though man forgets, God remains,

Shaping lives through joy and pain.

So in the shadows, in the trial,

Hold to faith through every mile.

For prison walls cannot restrain God’s perfect will,

His sovereign reign remains.
