Jacob and his sons, except Joseph, are in Canaan without food. Jacob sends his sons, except Benjamin, to buy grain in Egypt during the famine. They embark on a journey filled with courage and necessity.

It reads in Genesis 42:1-5: Jacob heard that there was food in Egypt. So he said to his sons, ‘There is no food here, so why are you just sitting there? I have heard that there is food in Egypt. Go there and buy some for us. Then we may continue to live and not die.’So ten of Joseph’s brothers went to Egypt to buy food. But Jacob did not send his youngest son, Benjamin, with them. Jacob was afraid that something bad might happen to Benjamin. Jacob’s sons went to Egypt, as well as other people who went there to buy food. They all went to Egypt because there was a bad famine in Canaan.

Father God, I thank You in times of scarcity and uncertainty, can You grant me the courage to step forward in faith. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the hoor and glory in Jesus Precious name Amen and Amen.
