Judah and his brothers fall before Joseph. Judah speaks, not just in defense, but with humility. Joseph says only the one with the cup, Benjamin, will stay as a slave. The others are free to leave.

It reads in Genesis 44:14–17 Easy: Joseph was still in his house when Judah and his brothers arrived. They threw themselves on the ground in front of Joseph. Joseph said, ‘Why have you done this bad thing? You should have known about an important man like me. I can use magic to find out what people do.’  Judah said, ‘We do not know what to say to you, my lord. We cannot say that we did not do this. God has shown that we are guilty of this sin. Now we are your slaves. We are all your slaves, as well as the one who had your cup in his bag.’ But Joseph said, ‘I would not do a thing like that! Only the man who had the cup will be my slave. The rest of you can return to your father. You may go as my friends.’

Father God, when we are caught in the places we cannot fix, teach us to be honest and brave. Help us bow low, not in shame, but in trust,  knowing You see every heart and every hidden thing. When we have no words to defend ourselves, let Your mercy speak. When we confess our faults, wrap us in grace that sets us free. Love You, thank You, praise You and give you all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen and Amen.
