Dan: Dan is depicted as cunning like a serpent, symbolic of hidden power, unpredictability, and judgment, but also potential danger. Jacob interrupts his blessing with a brief prayer, “I wait for your salvation, O LORD,” signaling concern for Dan’s future. The imagery highlights how authority can both serve justice or cause harm, emphasizing the need for hope and redemption amid uncertainty.
It reads in Genesis 49:16-18 Easy: Dan will be a ruler for his people. His descendants will be equal with the other tribes of Israel. He will be small and dangerous, like a snake that lies beside the road. He will be like a snake that bites the legs of horses so that the riders fall off.I trust you to save me from trouble, Lord.
Father God of Justice and Mercy, You, gave Dan a place among Your tribes, a voice to judge, a path winding with influence and risk. You, also heard the trembling in Jacob’s blessing, the longing for salvation amidst the prophecy. May we hold authority with humility and walk paths of power without slipping into harm. May the serpent within us be transformed, not to deceive, but to awaken wisdom. When judgment tempts us to strike, teach us to wait upon Your salvation. To seek Your justice, not our vengeance. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory for this new day in Jesus Precious Name Amen and Amen.

May we hold authority with humility and walk paths of power without slipping into harm. May the serpent within us be transformed, not to deceive, but to awaken wisdom.
