“Hands That Chose Life”

In Pharaoh’s court, a cruel decree, “Let sons of Israel cease to be.” Two midwives, with hearts aligned, Feared God above the laws of man.

Shiphrah and Puah, quiet and bold, held trembling babes with hands of gold. They heard the cries; they saw the need and chose to let the children breathe.

No trumpet sounded, no crowd did cheer, yet heaven leaned in, drawing near. For every life they dared to save, God built their homes, their names engraved

When power threatened, they stood still, their courage shaped by holy will. And through their faith, a nation grew, because two women dared be true.
