It reads in Exodus 1:22 Easy: Then Pharaoh spoke to all the Egyptian people. He said, ‘When an Israelite boy is born, you must throw him in the river Nile. But you can let the baby girls live.’

Father God, when evil rises and injustice seem to win, You are still working behind the scenes. Protect the innocent, O God. Turn every cruel decree into a doorway for Your mercy. Raise up deliverers, even from the river’s edge. Let Your justice flow like the Nile, not to drown, but to deliver.
