God sees, hears, and responds to suffering. He declares, “I have seen the troubles of my people… I have come down to save them.”Moses is chosen to lead the Israelites out of Egypt.God’s heart is moved by injustice. He doesn’t just observe, He acts. Often, He calls us to be part of that action, just as He’s called you in your advocacy.

It reads in Exodus 3:7-10 Easy: The Lord said, ‘I have certainly seen the troubles of my people in Egypt. I have heard them when they cry for help because of their cruel masters. I know that they are very sad. So now I have come down to save them from the power of the Egyptians. I will bring them out from Egypt to go to another land. That will be a good land and a big land. The land will give them plenty of good food and drink, enough for everyone. These are the nations who live there now: the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites and the Jebusites. Yes, I have heard that my Israelite people are crying for help. I have seen that the Egyptians do bad things to hurt them. So now you must go! I will send you to speak to Pharaoh. You will lead my people, the Israelites, out of Egypt.’

Father God who knows and see’s, You have surely seen the affliction of Your people. You have heard the cries rising from injustice, and You know the sorrows that weigh heavy on hearts. You are not distant. You are the God who comes down. Come again, Lord, into our broken systems, into our weary communities, into the places where oppression still speaks louder than hope. Just as You called Moses from the burning bush, call us now, to be deliverers, intercessors, and restorers. Give us courage to stand before Pharaohs, wisdom to speak truth, and compassion to walk with the wounded. Lead us to the land You have promised, a place of justice, healing, and abundance. Let Your Spirit burn within us, not to consume, but to commission. We say yes, Lord. Send us. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
