Moses feels inadequate, “Who am I? “God doesn’t boost Moses’ ego. He simply says, “I will be with you.” Our calling isn’t based on our strength, but on God’s presence. When we feel small, His promise is enough.
It reads in Exodus 3:11–12 Easy: But Moses said to God, ‘I am not an important person. I cannot go to Pharaoh. I cannot lead the Israelites out of Egypt!’ God said to Moses, ‘Be sure of this: I will be with you. After you have led the people out of Egypt you will all worship me here, on this mountain. That will show you that I myself have sent you to do this.
Father God, I hear Your call, but I tremble. “Who am I?” echoes in my heart, as I stand before tasks too great, burdens too heavy, and wounds too deep. Yet You do not answer with credentials or comfort. You answer with Yourself. “I will be with you,” You say. Not because I am strong, but because You are. So, I step forward, not in confidence, but in obedience. Not with certainty, but with trust. Let Your presence be my courage. Let Your promise be my sign. Let Your mountain be my worship. Send me, Lord, and stay with me. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
