“Before the Hail”
The Lord spoke early, morning light still thin: “Go to Pharaoh, let My people begin to worship Me, to walk in grace, but pride still holds them in this place.”
“I could have struck you, swept you away, but I let you live to see My day. My power will thunder, my name will rise, and Egypt will tremble under My skies.”
A storm is coming, fierce and wide, hail and fire side by side. But mercy speaks before the blow, “Bring in your flocks, let shelter grow.”
Some heard and hurried, hearts bowed low, others mocked what they didn’t know. and so the storm began to fall, but Goshen stood, untouched by all.
