“Midnight Departure”
At midnight, the silence broke, not with thunder, but with release. Pharaoh called them, not to punish, but to plead: “Go. Leave. Bless me too.” The chains fell without a fight. The doors opened without a key. The people, once bound, walked out with purpose, carrying bread not yet risen, and promises still warm. They left in haste, but not in fear. They left with gold, but not greed. They left with God, and that was enough. Marked by mercy, moved by covenant, they stepped into freedom as prophecy became path. So it was, after generations of groaning, after plagues and pleas, after blood on the doorposts, The Lord brought them out. Not just from Egypt, but from despair. Not just into wilderness, but into His care. This is the midnight of miracles. This is the common sense of God. When He says “Go,” the world must let you walk.
