The Lord said, “I will come in cloud, My voice will thunder clear and loud. Let all the people hear My word, trust the truth that Moses heard.”
So, Moses climbed, then climbed back down, to consecrate the waiting town. “Wash your clothes,” he told the crowd, “Be clean, be ready, strong, not proud.”
“Set the boundary, mark the line, no foot shall cross before God’s time. No beast, no man shall touch the hill, lest death by stone or arrow kill.”
“Wait for the trumpet’s holy sound, then you may step on sacred ground.” Three days to cleanse, to still desire, to meet the Lord in smoke and fire.
