under the stars. The night was calm. The sheep

were sleeping. The shepherds were keeping watch. Suddenly

an angel appeared! The sky shone bright with God’s glory. The shepherds were afraid, but the angel

Singing:

β€œGlory to God in the highest, and peace on earth to all people!” The shepherds said, β€œLet’s go! Let’s see this wonderful thing God has told us about.” They hurried to Bethlehem. And there, just as the angel

πŸ˜‡

said, they found Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus, wrapped in cloth and lying in a manger. The shepherds knelt down. They praised God with joy in their hearts.

Then they ran to tell everyone: β€œThe Savior has come! Jesus is born!” And that’s why we celebrate Christmas,

because Jesus is the reason for the season!
