It reads in Exodus 21:16 Easy: If someone catches another person to sell him, you must punish him with death. Kill him even if you find him when he has not yet sold the man that he caught.

This verse shows us how deeply God values every human life. Kidnapping isn’t just a crime against a person; it’s a direct attack on the dignity God placed in them. Kidnapping someone, whether to sell them or keep them, is punishable by death. In a world where people are often treated as objects, tools, or commodities, God draws a firm line: a human being is never property. This law protects the vulnerable, the powerless, and the overlooked. Human life and freedom are sacred. It reminds us that God sees every act of exploitation, every injustice done in secret, and every attempt to control or use another person for personal gain. His justice defends the oppressed and confronts the heart that seeks to harm or manipulate others. Even today, this verse calls us to honor the worth of every person and to stand against anything that devalues the image of God in someone else.

Father God, thank You  and praise You for being a God who protects the vulnerable and sees the hidden injustices of this world. Help me honor the value You place on every human life. Guard my heart from anything that would use, harm, or diminish another person. Teach me to stand for justice, to defend the oppressed, and to reflect Your heart of compassion and righteousness. Let my actions show that every person carries Your image and deserves dignity and respect in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
