A second layer of eleven goat‑hair curtains forms a protective tent over the fine linen layer. Five curtains are joined together, and six are joined together, creating two large panels. The extra sixth curtain is folded over the entrance like a covering flap. Bronze hooks connect the two panels into one unified piece. The extra length hangs down the sides and the back, ensuring the entire structure is shielded. This layer is practical, sturdy, and weather‑ready. Where the first layer displays beauty, this one provides strength and protection. God adds layers, beauty first, then strength. Holiness covered, then holiness guarded.

It reads in Exodus 26: 7–13 Easy: “Make another tent that will cover the Holy Tent. Use eleven curtains to make this tent. Make these curtains from goat hair. All these curtains must be the same size. They must be 30 cubits long and 4 cubits wide. Join five of the curtains together into one group. Then join the other six curtains together into another group. Fold back half of the sixth curtain at the front of the Tent. Make 50 loops down the edge of the end curtain of one group. Do the same for the end curtain of the other group. Then make 50 bronze rings to join the curtains together. This will join the tent together into one piece. Half of the end curtain of this tent will hang down below the back edge of the Holy Tent. On the sides, the curtains of this tent will hang down 1 cubitbelow the bottom edges of the Holy Tent. So, this tent will completely cover the Holy Tent.

Father God, thank You for adding layers of protection over my life. As the goat‑hair tent covered and guarded Your dwelling, cover my home, my heart, and my steps with Your strength. Let Your shelter rest over me today, steady, sure, and faithful. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus precious Name, Amen.
