These are popularly grown tender annuals, though Mirabilis Longiflora is often treated as a perennial in the southern half of the country. It grows two to three feet high and produces flowers that open after sunset and before sunrise. Pink and yellow flowers.

Mirabilis Jalapa, known commonly as Marvel-of- Peru, grows one to 2 1/2  feet high and produces one-inch white, red or yellow flowers that open in late afternoon, sunrise and sunset. These plants start out as seeds from the flowers, and grow wild.

After a year you can dig them up.

They are bulbs.  Four-O’clocks are amazing. These wild flowers have a great foundation of interaction in a landscape.
