“When those in authority bow, they clothe their power in God’s glory.”

Exodus 39:1 (the making of the priestly garments) points to how leaders are set apart to serve, power that is dignified when wrapped in humility. Leaders who humble themselves before God turn authority into service. Like the garments made for the priests, humility dresses power so it reflects God’s holiness rather than human pride.

The workers used blue, purple and red material to make beautiful clothes for the priests. They would wear them when they served God in the Holy Place. They made these special clothes for Aaron, as the Lord had commanded Moses.  Exodus 39:1 Easy:

Father God, give those who lead, hearts of humility. Let their authority be a garment of service that honors you and blesses the people they shepherd. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
