A cloud covers the Tent of Meeting, and God’s glory fills it so powerfully that Moses cannot enter. The cloud and fire become visible signs of God’s presence, guiding Israel through every journey.
Exodus 40:34–38 Easy: —Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting. The glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. Moses could not go into the Tent of Meeting because of the cloud and the bright glory of the Lord. The Israelites followed the cloud during all their journeys. Every time that the cloud rose up from the tabernacle, they would continue on their journey. But if the cloud remained on the tabernacle, the Israelites did not travel. They stayed where they were until the day when the cloud rose up. So the cloud stayed over the tabernacle during the day, to show that the Lord was with them. During the night, there was fire in the cloud. All the Israelites could see the cloud during all their journeys.
Father God, Your, glory filled the tabernacle and Your presence led Your people by cloud and fire; dwell with us now. Make our hearts a holy place where Your glory rests, guide our steps by Your light, and give us courage to follow wherever You lead. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
