(Leviticus 18:1–5 Easy: The Lord said to Moses, “Tell the Israelites: I am the Lord your God. You must not follow the customs of Egypt where you lived, and you must not follow the customs of the Canaanites where I am leading you. You must not live the way they do. You must obey my rules and follow my laws. Be sure to follow my rules because I am the Lord your God. You must obey my rules and my laws, because whoever obeys them will live. I am the Lord.)

God calls His people to live differently, not for rules’ sake alone but so life can flourish. These opening verses remind us that obedience is rooted in relationship: we follow because God has rescued and shaped us, and His ways protect what is good and whole.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, help me to hear Your voice above the noise and to follow Your ways with a willing heart. Shape my choices so they reflect Your life and love. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Mighty Precious Name Amen.
