“Order and Faith“
Around God’s tent the people stayed,
Just as the Lord had wisely laid.
Each tribe was placed in its special way,
Ready to follow, ready to obey.
To the east and to the west,
To the north and to the south at rest,
The banners waved beneath the sky,
As God watched over them from on high.
No tribe wandered on its own,
No one walked their path alone.
For in the center, strong and true,
The Lord’s holy presence shone through.
When the cloud began to rise,
They trusted God with watchful eyes.
Through desert sands and unknown land,
They followed the guidance of His hand.
So teach us, Lord, as You taught them,
To trust Your will again and again.
To keep You first in all we do,
And faithfully walk close to You.
For when You lead, we need not fear,
Your presence is forever near.
Like Israel gathered at Your call,
May Christ be at the center of all.
