Thanksgiving Cactus is a hanging plant with freshly stems that serves as leaves, very handsome three-inch white and crimson yellow flowers, and pinkish, red berrylike fruits. An excellent house plant, it can be made to bloom several times during the winter by putting it in a room where the temperature is 60*F. (15.56*C.) or less and giving it about ten hours of light a day for four to six weeks. Flowers will appear ten to twelve weeks later. Forcing requirements for some hybrids may vary slightly.
