The last time I went out to weed eat the long weeds, I wore some heavy duty hiking boots. They were much safer than sneakers because wearing sneakers a snake could bite. Snakes don’t like hiking boots.  They are much tougher to bite through. If my feet hold fast to the paths that lay before me that God has ordered for me to step in, my feet too will not be harmed. Plus I won’t slip on the weeds with the steel toes. All other slopes outside of His paths are a slippery slope for sure. “My steps have held fast to your paths; my feet have not slipped.”   Psalm 17:6
