God tells Moses to bring Aaron, his sons, the priestly garments, the anointing oil, the required animals, and the bread; Moses assembles the people and announces that this is what the Lord commanded. God’s work begins with clear calling and careful preparation. Before sacred service there is obedience to instruction and a public recognition of God’s design. When we prepare for ministry or service, we follow God’s pattern rather than our impulses.

The Lord said to Moses, “Take Aaron and his sons with him and the clothes, the anointing oil, the bull of the sin offering, the two rams, and the basket of unleavened bread. Then gather the people together at the entrance of the Meeting Tent.” Moses did what the Lord commanded him. The people met together at the entrance of the Meeting Tent. Then Moses said to them, “This is what the Lord has commanded must be done.” Moses brought Aaron and his sons forward and washed them with water. Leviticus 8:1-6 Easy

Father God, give me ears to hear Your call and the humility to prepare as You command. Make my readiness an offering to You. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Name Amen and Amen.
