Moses washes Aaron and his sons, clothes them in the priestly garments, places the sacred items (including the breast piece and turban), and pours anointing oil over the tent, the altar, and Aaron’s head to make them holy. The garments and anointing mark separation for service and dependence on God’s holiness. Our “clothing” may be different, character, calling, spiritual disciplines but the principle is the same: God equips and sets apart those who serve him.
Leviticus 8:7–13
Father God, You, are Holy, thank You and praise You for Your gifts. Please clothe me with righteousness and anoint my heart for faithful service. I feel overwhelmed and cannot carry this alone. Fill me with your peace that steadies the heart. Give me strength for each moment, wisdom for every decision, and the courage to let go of the need to control outcomes. Surround me with people who will support and protect me. Replace fear with your presence and remind me that you see every tear and every act of faith. Make what I do reflect Your holiness. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the hoor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
