Leviticus 19:30 ERV: “You must not work on my special days of rest. You must honor my holy place. I am the Lord.
Honor what is holy. This verse calls God’s people to revere what belongs to the Lord and to keep His commands. This verse ties worship and obedience together: honoring God in the sanctuary and keeping His statutes are two sides of the same life of faith. When you treat God’s things, His Word, His house, His people, with reverence, your whole life is shaped by holiness. Let that shape how you speak, how you rest, and how you serve: small acts of respect and obedience become the daily practice of a heart devoted to God.
Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, teach me reverence. Help me honor what is holy, keep Your commands, and live with a heart that respects Your presence. Make my worship sincere, my obedience steady, and my life a reflection of Your holiness. Help me to rest in You, know when to take a break and know when not too. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the Honor and glory in Your Mighty Precious Name Jesus Amen.
