This verse warns against turning to mediums or spiritists and redirects our trust to the Lord. Practically, that means choosing prayer, Scripture, and godly counsel when we need direction, comfort, or clarity. When we refuse shortcuts and seek God first, we protect our hearts and open ourselves to life that reflects His holiness and wisdom.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, help me turn away from anything that pulls me from You. Give me courage to seek Your voice in Scripture and in prayer, and wisdom to follow godly counsel. Keep my heart steady so I live in Your truth and peace. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Mighty Precious Name Lord Jesus Amen.
