Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, as I read Numbers 1 and journey through, give me wisdom to understand more than the census and the numbers. Help me see Your heart behind the chapter. Teach me that You are a God of order, purpose, and care. Just as You counted the people of Israel, remind me that You know me personally and that I am valuable in Your sight. Show me the place You have given me in Your kingdom. Help me discover how You want me to serve, lead, worship, encourage, or support others. Give me a willing heart to fulfill the role You have assigned to me, just as each tribe and each person had a purpose. Lord, teach me to appreciate the gifts and callings of others. Keep me from comparison and help me rejoice in the unique work You are doing through each of Your people. As the Levites were set apart for Your service, help me live a life that is devoted to You. Let my thoughts, words, and actions bring honor to Your name. Grant me wisdom, understanding, and discernment as I study Your Word, so that I may not only gain knowledge but also grow in obedience and faith. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Mighty Precious Name Lord Jesus Amen.
