Honesty honors God and heals community. This verse calls us not to defraud or rob our neighbor, this is more than a rule; it’s a call to protect the dignity and livelihood of those around us. When someone takes what belongs to another, trust is broken and relationships are wounded. God calls both the one who is wronged to seek justice and the one who has stolen to repent, make restitution, and restore what was taken so the community can be made whole.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, bring truth and restoration. Father, shine Your light into places of theft and deceit; convict hearts that take what is not theirs and give them courage to confess and restore. Comfort those who have been wronged and help the community to pursue fair justice and compassionate reconciliation. Teach us to honor our neighbors with honesty and to live in ways that reflect Your righteousness. Love You, thank You, praise You, and give You all the honor and glory in Your Precious Name Jesus Amen.
